Fender Flagship Tokyo

Approached by Klein Dytham architecture and Fender to quickly produce a video reveal of the new Fender flagship store in Tokyo, Wild Tame set out to create a piece inspired by the vintage magazine aesthetic.

Armed with not only our regular 6K cameras, but also a drone, a 360 camera, a periscope lens - and a very long piece of string, we captured this unique store from every angle. We also shot multiple stills of a number of classic guitars to intercut with the footage, creating a fast-paced, dynamic exploration of the flagship’s four floors.

Situated on the busy streets of Harajuku, the Fender Flagship Tokyo represents a new departure for this iconic brand. Read more about the project over on Dezeen.
