Mirai no Mori: Outdoor Adventures
Mirai no Mori is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized Japanese youth through outdoor programs.
Kozue, the driving force behind the organization, approached Wild Tame founders Joseph and Satoko and explained Mirai no Mori’s mission. They immediately saw the importance of the program, and also recognized the opportunity for a great partnership, in which Wild Tame’s skills could be used to document the work being done and so contribute to the cause.
Not only that, but Mirai no Mori offered an opportunity for the Wild Tame team to get out into the wild with an inspiring group of individuals, make new friends, and give back to the community.
Over the course of one year, we produced several short videos, each focused on a single weekend or weeklong activity, and then in December 2023 wrapped things up with a 10th anniversary video to mark this important milestone in the organization’s story.
